Gilbert Development Corp brings extensive mining expertise to every operation, with a proven track record in precious metals extraction, iron ore mining, and construction aggregate production. Based in Hurricane, UT, our mining division serves operations throughout Southern Utah and the western United States, applying the same level of professionalism and technical capability that has defined our heavy civil construction work for over six decades.

Our mining operations encompass the full lifecycle of mineral extraction, from initial mine planning and pit design through active production and eventual reclamation. We operate high-volume open-pit mines with the heavy equipment fleet and skilled workforce needed to process up to 5,000 tons of material per day. Our capabilities include surface mining, drill-and-blast operations, overburden removal, ore haulage, and material processing — giving mine owners a single contractor who can manage the entire operation.

For mineral processing, our team handles crushing, milling, magnetic separation, and other beneficiation techniques required to produce market-ready products. We operate both rail and highway truck loading facilities, enabling efficient transport of finished materials to smelters, refineries, and end users. Our processing operations are designed for maximum recovery and throughput while maintaining strict environmental compliance.

Regulatory compliance is built into every aspect of our mining operations. We maintain full compliance with MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) regulations, Utah Division of Air Quality standards, and Department of Oil, Gas & Mining requirements.
