Gilbert Development Corp installs underground utilities throughout Southern Utah, including the Hurricane, St. George, and Washington County areas. Our utility division handles everything from small-diameter residential water and sewer lines to large-diameter trunk infrastructure capable of serving entire communities. With decades of experience navigating the unique soil conditions and rock formations found throughout Washington County and beyond, our crews deliver reliable installations that stand the test of time.

We work with a wide range of pipe materials to match the specific requirements of each project, including ductile iron, PVC, fused HDPE (high-density polyethylene), ADS (advanced drainage systems), reinforced concrete pipe, and corrugated metal pipe. Our team has the expertise to select and install the right material for each application, whether it is a pressure water main, gravity sewer, or storm drainage conveyance system. We handle pipe diameters up to 72 inches and install at any depth required by the project design.

Beyond pipe installation, our utility services encompass the full scope of associated infrastructure. This includes manholes, valve vaults, gate valves, pressure-reducing valve stations, pump stations, and storage tanks. We provide full dig, lay, backfill, and testing services — as well as specialized operations such as dewatering and complex deep excavation in challenging ground conditions. Every installation is pressure tested and inspected to meet or exceed municipal and state standards before backfill.
